Vaccine Trials Group is involved in a number of projects aimed at
assessing the effectiveness and ensuring the safety of currently
licensed vaccines. We are also involved in the surveillance
of other important medical conditions.

We recommend that you speak to your General Practitioner (GP) about your vaccinations. GP's have the latest information about the National Immunisation Program Schedule. They also have information about any vaccine preventable disease that maybe present in your community.
Seek pre -travel health advice by discussing your travel itinerary with your GP. Check if you or your family require any vaccine boosters or specific vaccines for the regions you are travelling. Remember to use other precautions such as insect repellants for extra protection.
